Curriculum
The first goal of
the Macy Initiative was to define the set of communication skills required
of all physicians. This set of skills is called the "Communication
Competencies". Click below to review the list. Also the specific
tasks and skills of the medical interview are compiled in the "Overview
of the Structure and Sequence of Effective Doctor Patient Communication".
After defining the
core competencies, each school developed school specific curriculum.
